Welcome Megan Park, PharmD, MBA, DPLA

We are thrilled to announce that Megan Park, ParkD, MBA, DPLA, has joined Sharp Index leadership team as our leader of Innovation and Grant Strategy.

Dr. Megan Park, Chief Innovation and Grant Strategy Officer at Sharp Index, is healthcare technology obsessed, and brings over a decade of pharmacy and informatics expertise to her role along with obtainment of numerous grants to fund innovations in healthcare software development, specifically with an emphasis on patient safety and clinician wellness. Megan is a successful program builder, creator, innovator, and founder. Her perspectives an expertise in pharmacy add a critical perspective for mental health for physicians and clinicians.

Megan is working to create meaningful technology solutions to streamline caregiver experiences, innovate the way we work in healthcare, and to empower patient-centered care. Formerly, as System Director of Clinical Pharmacy Informatics at Intermountain Healthcare, she spearheaded the implementation of cutting-edge medication-care systems, integrating human factors engineering with clinical excellence. Prior to that, she held senior leadership positions at Becton Dickinson, driving safety innovations in outpatient medication automation technology. Megan also led patient safety research at the University of Chicago and founded a progressive long-term care pharmacy, implementing technology solutions for LTC facilities. Her journey showcases a steadfast commitment to innovation and leadership, supported by a Doctorate in Pharmacy and a Master’s in Business Administration from Roseman University of Health Sciences.

Megan is an enthusiastic member of the Utah Health Information Management Systems Society (UHIMSS), Clinicians Who Code (CWC), and also is a Well-Being Ambassador of the American Society of Health System Pharmacists (ASHP).
