Sharp Index Awards 2024 Title Sponsorship
The Sharp Index Awards are a way to celebrate the good news. Projects that have helped, individuals that have made a difference, and systems that take the health of their physicians seriously should be celebrated. When we recognize excellence in physician health, healthcare systems will naturally strive for excellence. We recognize excellence in work towards that mission. The title sponsor opts out of winning awards, shares their vision of why healthcare mental health matters, and is involved in announcing awards. They are also invited to participate on the judging panel. The awards will recognize work done during 2023 and be announced during 2024 in person and virtually in New York City June 12-13, 2024.
Healing and healthcare are an important message for all. The power of each individual to change healthcare for the better is part of The vision of Sharp Index vision. Anyone can change the world for the better, and we need everyone. The Sharp Index started in 2018 after the suicide death of my former husband John Madsen. He left behind 3 children. We cannot undo the losses of suicide, burnout, and loss, but we can celebrate those with the heart to work for good in the face of hardship. The theme this year is 'building a foundation of health,' with the goal of surpassing last year’s total by raising awareness about the good news in healthcare and projects that are working. We share the voices of leaders and bringing together leaders and past winners at this year’s Sharp Index Awards Ceremony.
