Expert Advice and Guidance: Provide expert advice and guidance on healthcare mental health policies, practices, and trends, drawing upon their medical expertise and experience to inform the organization's decision-making processes.
Program Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's programs and initiatives from a medical perspective, ensuring they align with evidence-based practices and meet the needs of healthcare professionals. Help determine program development decisions and funding.
Quality Improvement: Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement strategies and initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient care, safety, and outcomes within the organization's programs.
Physician Engagement: Facilitate physician engagement by serving as a liaison between the organization and the medical community, encouraging collaboration, and fostering a positive and productive relationship.
Advocacy and Outreach: Advocate for physician interests and represent the organization in professional medical settings and healthcare forums, promoting the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives to the wider medical community.
Advise student research about healthcare mental health.
Facilitate peer support for physicians.
Mentor Sharp Index Scholarship recipients.
Participate as a judge for the Sharp Index Awards.
1-10 hours per month, as preferred.
